8 months old!

Beckett was 8 months old last week.  So big and so active!  I can see that he just watches Campbelle and Christian run around and he so badly wants to move with them as well.  He is sitting very independently, but not crawling yet.  He has, however, figured out how to get someplace by rolling himself back and worth – slowly inching his way to the object he wants.  He’s one determined little guy.

Based on my rough ‘at home’ measurements… I’d say he’s about 21 lbs and 31 inches.   He is at such a happy stage right now… with the biggest ‘drooly’ smiles for just about anyone that pays him a little notice – the church day care ladies, neighbors, random grocery store patrons…..he is such a little flirt!  But if memory serves me correctly, I have about 1-2 more months of this outgoing, happiness.  Seems that’s the time separation/stranger anxiety has set in with the other two.
