Happy Birthday Leif
Today is Leif’s birthday and the kids and I have been secretly planning for this day for some time. We are so anxious to celebrate with him tonight when he gets home from work.
Leif moved to the US just before his 30th birthday. I remember that birthday so clearly. Paradiso Mexican restaurant in Fargo. Margaritas. And something with pepper as gifts if you weren’t married by 30. ??
Our life has grown in the past ten years. And I’m so thankful to be his partner in all of it.

Not to mention that Leif forgot his ID at the apartment before we went to Paradiso. Not sure if he had to go home and get it before he was allowed to buy a beer or not - fun times.
