Happy 3rd Birthday Campbelle

Campbelle celebrated her 3rd Birthday with all of her friends at the Children's Museum in Seattle. It was a fun morning with a bunch of great kids.


 

 

When we got home, she opened presents from her family. Some of the highlights were a basketball hoop from Grandpa Jerry and Marva and a bike from Farmor and Farfar. She also got a little fish that she names Rosa from mom and dad. 

Bunad

Liv and August brought Christian his first Bunad - Norwegian National Costume. He is pretty proud of it. What a handsome little norsk! 

Campbelle's watching for whales

 

Whale Watching

Leif's parents arrived Monday afternoon and on Tuesday we took a trip up to Anacortes, took the ferry boat to Friday Harbor, and went on a whale watching excursion along the San Juan Islands. We didn't see any whales, but did see some sea lions, porpoises and seals. It was a great sunny day. And thankfully the kids both got a little nap! 

We met Gina for lunch on Monday up in Edmonds where she works. It is a beautiful town right along the Sound... and Campbelle thought this was the coolest resturant she has ever seen... and sandbox right beside our table! 

Christian was not too keen on the sand, but Campbelle made herself right at home! 

Brunch

My dad and Marva arrived yesterday and we spent the day at West Seattle. First brunch at Salty's - wow!! and then the afternoon strolling along the beach. What an amazing view and fantastic weather! 

Too much chocolate?!?!

Church Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday was our churches Easter Egg Hunt. There were so many kids and tons of eggs, both Campbelle and Christian thought it was so much fun. We had a hard time getting Christian to keep eggs in his basket, he always put his into other kids' baskets - that's Christian for you, such a sweethearted guy. Campbelle, on the other hand....... :-) 

Gina spent the weekend with us and Campbelle and her baked a rhubarb crisp. Gina put Campbelle to work by helping her cut up the rhubarb... poor girl only got a butter knife to cut so she had to work extra hard! :-)
