Christmas Ship Parade

My dad and Marva are here for a visit. They arrived Saturday and will be staying a week. On Sunday we went on a Christmas ship parade. We sailed to two different docks, along with about 20 other boats, and Christmas music was performed by a local boys choir to people on land and water. All the boats were either privately owned (to the tune of millions and millions of dollars for some!!) or were a part of a charter fleet (like the one we were on). All the boats were decorated with Christmas lights and all sorts of stuff. (None of our outside pictures turned out, but trust me, it really was a beautiful site on Lake Washington).
Santa was on board the ship... both kids were not real crazy about it; but they did what they had to do in order to get some candy!

Campbelle was part of the choir of children singing Christmas songs. I'm not sure she knew all the words to every song, but she moved her lips like she did. Posted by Picasa
